Welcome we are Francesca and Carolina Inghirami,

we started this adventure because of the love for these places so harsh and magnificent that bind us and our family in this land and to the city of Volterra for over a thousand years. The hill of Scornello already appears in documents of 1200 and has since been owned by the family Inghirami.

We wanted the agriturismo to be able to share our history, the beauty of the landscape, the charm of Volterra and its people.

We have restored five apartments in the ancient village next to the seventeenth-century Villa of Scornello.

Ours is an organic farm of 350 hectares, about 9 km from Volterra, placed inside a large nature reserve, which provides peace of mind to our guests and allow you to enjoy strolls in the typical Mediterranean maquis , or mountain biking and trekking, as well as being an ideal starting point for excursions to historical cities  and trips to the beach.

We love animals very much and we are happy when we can accommodate 4-legged friends, even more than one and of any size, for us humans there is a pool (6x12m) and for our animal friends we have a beautiful pond where they can cool off, they can also sleep in the house with you, you can take them anywhere, there are no taboo places, all around the farm there is the possibility of beautiful walks in the woods, there are always available bowls with fresh water at various points, if necessary instead , there are kennels at the shade of weeping willow trees. We are in contact with excellent veterinarians.

You arrive at the villa of Scornello from the road called "della Zambra" covering about nine kilometers (of which the last four of country white road) from which branches off our road characterized by traditional double row secular Tuscan cypresses.
